Here's What We Are Doing Lately | Phillip's Love Bears
Teddy Bears & Friends Bringing Joy Across the Globe!
Hello, Friends and Supporters of Phillip’s Love Bears!
We have some wonderful updates to share from our director, Phil Fusco. Thanks to your incredible support, prayers, and coordination, a massive wave of comfort, joy, and Scripture is currently heading out to children who need it most.
Here is a look at where these special bundles of love are traveling:
1. Florida: Bringing Joy to Terminally Ill Children
Our first group of Teddy Bears & Friends was requested by former wrestler Shawn Young, who works closely with terminally ill children in Florida through his dedicated group of pirates. While his recent event focused on 37 terminally ill children, we were able to go above and beyond by sending 75 animals. Along with the bears, we included Phillip’s Love Bears coloring books (packed with Scripture) and crayons to bring both comfort and God's Word to these brave kids.
You can check out a video detailing the direct impact of this event right here on Facebook.
2. Venezuela: Reaching Families in Need
Our second group of bears is headed to Florida to be processed by the Global Empowerment Mission (GEM). From there, these bears will be traveling internationally directly to Venezuela. This is a massive push for our ministry—we are projected to send approximately 300 bears to comfort children and families in the region.

3. Dominican Republic: Comforting Hospitalized & Street Children
Our third shipment of Teddy Bears is on its way to Sarah Lott, a dedicated missionary in the Dominican Republic. Once they arrive, they will be handed over to a local pastor who is actively working with children in hospitals as well as street children, providing a tangible reminder that they are loved and never forgotten.
Thank You for Your Support!
Every single shipment represents our community coming together to spread hope and love to children facing difficult circumstances. Your continued prayers, time and dedication make this work possible. Let’s keep lifting up Phil, the local pastors, and the missionaries on the ground as these bears find their new homes!
